Suqsphere Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Suqsphere application ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

The Service is owned and operated by KnowIslam Project. By creating an account or accessing the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
  • Biometrics: Enabling biometric login (fingerprint/face ID) is done solely for local convenience and security. Your biometric data is not stored on our servers.

3. Marketplace Terms

3.1 Halal Compliance

  • Seller Obligation: All products listed within the categories of Halal Food & Groceries, Islamic Fashion, and Modest Beauty must comply with accepted Halal standards. Sellers must truthfully represent product origins and certifications.
  • Enforcement: Suqsphere reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any seller found to be misrepresenting products as Halal.

3.2 Transactions and Payments

  • Payment Processor: Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., Paystack, Stripe). We are not responsible for errors or security breaches caused by the payment processor.
  • Currency: Products are listed in the seller's designated currency. Buyers acknowledge that final charges will be converted based on the prevailing exchange rates at the time of purchase.
  • Fulfillment: Sellers are solely responsible for timely packaging, shipping, and delivery of products.

4. Code of Conduct (Social Aspect)

You agree not to use the Service to upload, post, or transmit any content that:

  • Violates Islamic Principles: Including content that promotes hatred, violence, extremism, or is profane, obscene, or defamatory.
  • Is Illegal or Harmful: Infringes upon intellectual property rights, promotes illegal acts, or violates any law.
  • Spam or Fraud: Engage in commercial activities, including spamming or posting misleading advertisements, outside of the designated marketplace features.

5. Intellectual Property

All content posted by users remains the property of the respective user. By posting, you grant Suqsphere a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share your content through the Service.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to violating the Halal Compliance rules or engaging in fraudulent activity.
